Why should we learn English?

 Why should we learn English? 

Well, my dear readers, 

I am Mohan. I am an English teacher. I want to help all those who want to learn English I wish you all success in your efforts to llearn English. 

At the outset, let us learn about why should we learn English?  

1. First of all, we should learn English because it is spoken by a large number of people in the world. (Spoken in UK, USA, Australia and other common wealth countries. 

2. Secondly, English is a granary of literature of the world. All the best literary works of the world have been translated into English.  (The best of literature in Russian, German, Japanese etc.)

3. Thirdly, there are classic literary works in English which are considered as all time great works written by great writers like Shakespeare, Wordsworth, Milton, Benjohnson, Christopher Marlowe, Jane Austen, G B Shaw etc. 

4. Fourthly,  English is the language of science. Your learning of science is not perfect unless you learn it in English. Experts say that many professional books of medicine and engineering cannot be written in any language other than English. 

5. Fifthly, English is language of higher education. Higher education at the proficiency level is given only in English. Doctoral thesis and dessertations have to be produced only in English if you want global recognition. 

6. Sixthly, English is a link language. If two people of two different mother tongues meet, they have no other alternative but to speak in English. 

7. Seventhly, it is the language of livelihood. If you have mastered English language, you have a better edge over other competitors in acquiring any job or profession. 

Therefore, because of all these reasons , we have to learn English and master it to succeed in our efforts.

On Women's Liberators

This is addressed to the so called women liberation activists. But I wonder whether they are sincere enough to read this article completely. I wonder whether they act on it honestly and creatively. These activists are spending their time , money and energy in entertaining one another. These activists call themselves as revolutionaries having trained themselves in western culture and western education.
